Comparing the Melody II and the Classic Athena Water Ionizers

Why Compare the Melody II and Classic Athena Water Ionizers?
There are several good reasons to compare these two mid-priced water ionizers. First of all, the Classic Athena (a Jupiter water ionizer) is a well-known winning water ionizer for about fifteen years now. I've shown how it out-tests Tyent, Life, Chanson, Enagic and other water ionizers many times over the years. It also has the great advantage of being able to use UltraWater filters. To me filtration is extremely important and UltraWater is by far the best.
The Melody II is the lowest-priced of the AlkaViva brands of water ionizers. I think most people would look at the low price and think that water ionizer couldn't possibly be that great. But look at the charts, reviews, and other information below. It's outstanding!
A great thing about both the Athena Classic and the Melody II is their exceptional "continuous cleaning" of the water-cell. With this feature you can be sure to always have the best ionization even decades later.
The Melody II water ionizer compares super-well to the Classic Athena as you can see in these charts. And, in some features you can see it's even better. For instance the Melody II water ionizer can be installed under the sink or direct plumbed, without fear of leaking. That's because the valves inside the Melody II are designed to never scale up or leak. So the Melody II will hold up under constant water pressure really well.
Comparing Basic Features
Both water ionizers have plenty of pH levels for you to pick from. They also both have power-boosting capabilities, which allows you to customize the water ionizer to your source water.
The Melody II is a bit smaller and lighter than the Classic Athena, which is probably because it has SMPS power, verses a transformer.
Comparing PH, ORP and H2 Concentrations
Both companies have been very innovative in creating proprietary plate/water-cell designs that work efficiently to ionize water at demonstrably superior levels. You can see this by how well both the Melody II and Classic Athena water ionizers test. Testing is one of the ways to cut to the chase of how "good" a water ionizer is. All the other features mean very little if the water doesn't ionize very well.
What About Reviews?
In looking over the reviews of both the Melody II and Athena Classic water ionizers, I'm seeing customers loving both of them. In other words, whichever one the customer bought, they loved. For instance here are recent reviews from each:
- 5-Star Review About the Melody II: We bought a melody II H2 unit from you a couple years ago. I really appreciate your site by the way as it cuts through all the BS found online. ?? I am thinking about buying one for my daughter as her beloved seven-year-old cat has cancer. I have a friend who knows a lot about water whom gives alkalinity 9.0 to her dog with great results!
- 5-Star Review About the Classic Athena: I Love my machine. I have tried numerous herbal treatments, and health treatments for my allergies. This water completely cured my allergies. WOW. I researched both sides of the "alkaline water" theory. I wanted to believe the non believers, partly because of the price of this machine, but quite frankly I think the people who are against ionized water haven't tried it themselves. Placebo effect my ass, have you tried the water? I say it was one of the best purchases I have made in a long time.
