Dancercises: Healthy and Healing for Seniors

What is Dancercising?
Dancercising is dancing for an extended period to improve one's physical fitness. You can definitely get a great workout when you dance.
Exercises, Like Dancing, Help You to Feel Younger
I believe, and many others claim, that happy and vibrant exercising is at least part of the formula for the fountain of youth.
Dancercising Helps You Get More Fun Out of Life
You have to try this to see how much fun it is.
Then, afterward, you have more energy for the rest of the day, so you can do more, and of course, life is more fun. Nothing compares to living life with aliveness. Try it, and you will see.

How to Get Started Dancercising
Either create your own music playlist (or use mine), set the timer, and dance for 20-40 minutes straight (more if you want). It's not just a workout; it's a fun and exhilarating experience you'll look forward to every day.
When I dance, I try to do as many moves as possible: twisting, kicking, flapping the arms, marching, running, twirling, and so on. I put my arms and legs through a broad range of motion. I get boisterous and exhilarated, too.
I'll also pick up weights sometimes to give my arms a better workout.
Raising the Heart Rate by 30%
You support weight and health management by raising the heart rate by 30% for 20-40 minutes daily. Doing this conditions the heart without overworking it.
When I dance, my resting heart rate of 70 bpm usually rises to about 100 bpm. This follows the 30% formula, which is excellent for achieving my weight and health-management goals and gives me a sense of accomplishment and pride in my progress.
Healing Frequency Music
Our bodies aren't solid; instead, they are very energetic and respond very well to the healing frequencies of music. These frequencies, such as 432 Hz, are believed to positively impact our energy levels and overall well-being.
I always dance to 432 or 528 Hz music (the two best healing frequencies). I can feel the boost of energy it gives me when I play this kind of music and dance to it. I have a playlist of 432 Hz oldies music. Give it a try.
Experiencing High-Level Emotions Heals
Your body reacts to your emotions. When you experience high-level emotions like joy, excitement, and enthusiasm during dancercising, your body releases hormones that promote healing and boost your energy levels.
Emotions vs. thoughts give command signals to the body. When your feelings say, "Live!" the blood circulates, and hormones flow better to make you feel more alive. The joints loosen up, and you feel more alive.
But when you act like you're dying (very sedentary), the body starts shutting down. Joints stiffen, and your energy levels wane. In other words, when the body thinks you want to die, it will accommodate you.
Genetically, our bodies are meant to be active until our last breathing day.
Exercise Helps to Alkalize Your Body
When you exercise, you increase your breathing rate and circulation, which helps to alkalize your body. The science behind this is discussed in more depth in this article on the topic of exercise I wrote a couple of years ago.
However, one thing to remember with all exercise is to drink plenty of the right kind of water.
Drink the Right Kind of Water While Dancercising
The body always breaks down tissue as part of the exercise process. There's no better water to drink to help repair and heal the exercised muscles than ionized water. See more about the benefits of ionized water.
