Today’s NY Times article announcing the discontinuation of Eli Lilly’s clinical trials of an experimental drug for reducing plaque in the brains of Altimeters patients came as a great disappointment to people looking for a cure for Altimeters.  

Not only did this drug fail to help the Alzheimer’s patients it was tried on, but compared to the control group [who were given a placebo] the experimental patients did worse.

What the NY Times article failed to mention was that there is still hope for Alzheimer’ patients.

Small groups of researchers are out there actually making headway. But their good news seems to never reach the major news media’s headlines. Here a few of the many videos and links to a group making what appears to be significant headway in the right direction with Alzheimer’s. Whether or not they are the full answer remains to be seen, but one thing I know is if it were me, I’d go to one of the obviously more successful researchers, below, for help.
