Vesta Water Ionizer Review
Published by Alkaline Water Plus
The new Vesta GL water ionizer is the best water ionizer of 2012, and in many ways I think it’s the best I’ve ever seen.
Features of the Vesta GL water ionizer:
The Vesta GL water ionizer has been approved as a medical device in Korea (Korea FDA No.: 3277).
The Vesta’s AutoAdjust™ feature is the best plate-cleaning design I’ve seen. There is actually a mini-computer onboard that senses the hardness of the input water and adjusts the electrical pulses to the electrodes based on the most efficient ionization for that source water. With
AutoAdjust™ calcium and other minerals cannot attach themselves to the electrodes. With the electrodes switching on and off so quickly and pulsing differing widths, minerals don’t have the time or stability to form a bond with the surface of the electrode.
The Vesta’s advanced pulse width modulation, AutoAdjust™ delivers inputs electrical energy in variable short, sharp bursts or punches. AutoAdjust™ varies pulse time or widths causes the electrodes to act in a more excited and energetic way creating more active production of oxygen from the electrode, and therefore more activated water. The result is a bigger change in pH and better ORP.
The Vesta has onboard computer diagnostics beyond any other water ionizer in the world.
The Vesta GL is extremely powerful. In my testing, even at a fast flow-rate the pH and ORP of the Vesta remained very high.

Again, the Vesta did way better in every way.

The Jupiter Athena actually comes out a little better than the Vesta at the drinking levels
The Jupiter Athena Water Ionizer compares extremely well with the Vesta GL and the Enagic SD501, but this is at a slower flow-rate of 1.5 liters per minute. Note: I prefer a slower flow rate from water ionizers, or best filtration.

More About the Vesta:
Because it’s so new, the manual is not quite as explanatory as I would like to see. For instance, the onboard computer in the water ionizer makes it have the capability of being programmable. However the manual is not clear as to how to do that. So, to assist customers who want to program their water ionizers, I found out the complete instructions and included it in this blog under “Demo of the New Vesta Water Ionizer”.
The Vesta has a display of pH and ORP of the water. As in all water ionizers that display the pH and ORP on the front LED panel or otherwise make the customer think they are getting a specified pH and/or ORP, they are simply estimating. Over the years my online demonstrations and water ionizer comparison testing has proven over and over again that the pH and/or ORP of ionized water is impossible to measure from inside of the unit. Any type of panel display is simply an estimation of what a typical consumer may experience, and unless you test it yourself, you won’t know for sure. It doesn’t matter what the front panel says or what the voice says, your actual pH and ORP will vary with your source water. I always suggest that customers use the pH test kit that comes free with your water ionizer to determine the pH levels of the ionized water at each of the drinking levels until you get used to what each of the settings of your water ionizer will give you in your particular location.
