Why Gout Sufferers Should Get a Water Ionizer
Published by Alkaline Water Plus
The occurrence and re-occurrence of Gout is pure agony, and the reason it happens is the person’s pH balance is off. Long ago, in the early 90’s my pH balance was way off. I was a Gout sufferer, in addition to allergies, and acid-reflux [none of which I thought had any relation to each other]. Believe me, a Gout attack was not something I wanted to have repeated! My fingers got swollen and hot, and I couldn't even come close to making a fist. My big toe was so swollen & inflamed, it was hard to walk. Yet at the time I really didn’t know what was causing my Gout, so I didn’t have much control.
Many Water Ionizer Users Who have had Gout Uniformly Agree that their Gout is Gone because of Ionized Water!

I didn’t buy a water ionizer to cure my Gout, allergies, acid-reflux or anything else. I actually just bought it to help my body stay youthful [i.e., reverse aging]. However within a few months of the time I started drinking ionized water until now I haven’t been plagued with Gout [or anything else for that matter]. That’s decades!
Body pH and Gout
The older you get, the fewer buffers against acids your body has. That’s just a fact of life. Gout is one of those conditions (similar to acid-reflux, gas, allergies, and even cancer) that is related to the pH balance in your body. Body pH is a big deal. The blood relies on a very narrow range of pH [7.365 to be precise]. This is similar to the fact that our body temperature range is narrow [98.6]. Literally you’d die if your body temperature exceeded 104 or 105, well the same with blood pH. If you exceeded the very narrow range of about 7.3 – 7.4 pH, you’d die. So, rather than die, your body has developed ways to save you, such as creating and depositing crystals from the excess uric acid in your blood.
What is Gout?
Gout is a form of arthritis, which usually occurring in joints, like toes or fingers. Gout is a condition caused by excess uric acid in your blood. Uric acid crystals form to protect your body’s pH balance.
Science and Theory of Gout
When excess uric acid is in the blood [from the foods you eat], they threaten the pH balance of the blood. If your body can’t eliminate the uric acid, it will deposit it, in the form of crystals, into your joints. The most prominent joints affected by gout are, the big toe and finger joints, although other joints can be affected by gout. A gout attack is a period of sudden excruciatingly painful, swollen, inflamed, tender, hot joint(s). The big toe is often affected first, but not necessarily in every case; it could be other joints, like fingers.
Every gout attack risks a person coming closer to becoming deformed and crippled. Eventually, if you continue to have gout attacks, your joints will react to the inflammation in such a way that calcium deposits form in and around the joints. This is your body’s way of further protecting you from the uric acid. The results of this are deformity, crooked joints or bumps [tophi] on or around the joints. The tophi aren’t painful in particular, but they are debilitating and ugly.
Knowledge is Power
It is wise to learn how to observe your own body’s reaction to the foods you eat and become educated in the signs and symptoms of gout
If you know what makes your body too acidic you can reverse and eliminate attacks of gout. The most likely cause of the body’s overly acidic condition is your diet. If you overeat, that in and of itself can cause an over acidic condition to occur. Basically, in the case of gout, your body has only so much ability to break down purines [nitrogen based molecules], which are naturally found in many foods: meat, seafood, yeast, fructose, refined flour, etc. Purines aren’t bad, it’s just that too many of them [more than you can easily break down] are. Fresh, uncooked vegetables and fruit are on the other hand great for gout.
