All water ionizers have cleaning systems, which are crucial to their performance and durability, but not all cleaning systems are created equal. The Delphi H2 features AutoClean, an advanced form of continuous cleaning. Without constant cleaning, calcium and other minerals attach themselves to the electrodes. However, with AutoClean, the electrodes switch on and off so quickly and pulse with differing widths that minerals don’t have the time or stability to form a bond with the electrode surface. Other, less sophisticated water ionizer brands cause you to periodically wait for your alkaline water. The AutoClean reversal mechanism operates in the background of the Delphi H2, always cleaning and never interrupting the flow of alkaline drinking water. You never have to wait or worry.

Filter-Changing Instructions

Replacing filters is a simple process. By following these steps, you can ensure an smoother experience with filter replacement in the future.

Shut off the water flow.
Turn on the alkaline flow (as if water were coming out). This releases pressure or suction in the line.
Replace the filters only now that the pressure has been released.
Another thing to note is that the small electronic connector should be removed first, before removing the old filter. Then clip it into the new filter first, before inserting the filter and turning it into place in the filter port.
AlkaViva also recommends applying food-grade lubricants, such as olive oil or coconut oil, to the O-rings on the unit where the filters are located.
If you still have any difficulty, use a slight tilt back and forth while pulling up on the filter.

Additionally, please order your filters from us to ensure you receive the correct ones. I want to emphasize the importance of selecting the proper replacement filters.

IMPORTANT NOTES

With all water ionizers, a small amount of residual water is typically left over from quality-check testing, so plugs are placed on all water ionizer ports. Please follow these guidelines for removing the quick-connect plugs. Also, save these plugs in case you ever have to ship your Delphi water ionizer.
Note: All pH and ORP levels are approximate, depending on local water supply, because water ionizers don’t always work the same in every location.
Flow Control (If you ever get an AOF error code.) The newest models of the Delphi H2 come with a flow restrictor valve. It is an optional part used for a Delphi H2 when it displays the A0F error code, indicating that the water pressure to the Delphi H2 is too high. This flow restrictor valve limits the flow to a level that the unit can handle.

The other option to clear that error code is to adjust the flow at the angle stop adapter until the A0F error code disappears.
