City Water
The UltraHome sediment prefilter for city water has an extra-special carbon block, which is needed for removal of heavy metals and the kind of sediment you find in city water.
Well Water
For well water, ours is the highest quality pleated fiber, providing more surface area and increased capacity to trap and hold particles. Well owners know the value of containing all sediment in filters before it enters their home. In this case it's trapping all the yuck before it enters your expensive UltraHome main filters.
