How does the UltraHome Premium compare to other systems?
Other inferior systems use Granulated activated carbon, which is far less effective than UltraWater filtration. Ordinary filters can only remove some contaminants, but UltraWater filters remove all the bad chemicals, including forever chemicals!

What to Expect With the Descaling Process
If you live in a hard-water area, you likely have existing mineral deposits and scale inside your pipes and fixtures. Over the first few weeks, this scale will begin to dissolve, detach, and come out of your faucets. This descaling process is temporary and perfectly normal and will steadily diminish depending on how hard your water is and how much buildup you have. As descaling occurs in the first few weeks, you'll notice reduced softness - especially when using hot water. You may see mineral silt in the water as the mineral scale loosens and flushes out of your system. It will range from very fine silt to pieces as large as a grain of sand. The largest pieces will build up in the aerator screens of your fixture or in your shower head. Clean aerators and shower heads weekly for as long as you notice the buildup.

How it works: IronGuard uses a compressed air "bubble" inside the media tank. When water passes through, the iron or H2S becomes particles trapped by the filter media. During regeneration, the system flushes out those particles and refills the air "bubble" to keep your water clean and flowing smoothly.
Returns
Can UltraHome Systems be Returned? If you have NOT used any product and have NOT broken the manufacturer's seal on the box, you can return the products within 30 days of purchase for a full refund, less shipping cost. If you have broken the manufacturer's seal or used the product in any way, you may return the product (exceptions are consumables, books, and DVDs, which are never refundable), subject to a 15% restocking charge within 30 days of purchase. The original shipping charges will not be refunded, and return shipping charges must be prepaid by the Purchaser. The customer is responsible for shipping costs both ways unless the unit is bad out of the box and returned within 30 days of purchase. The Warranty excludes damage caused by environmental factors, including (but not limited to) mineral buildup due to high iron levels in hard water or poor source water quality.
UltraHome Premium Whole House Filtration Systems Limited Warranty
UltraWater Solutions warrants to the end user ("customer") that its tanks, valves, in/out heads, bypasses, fittings, conditioning media, and housings ("Covered Items") in the Salt-free Softener will be free from defects in material and workmanship under regular use and service as described in the following paragraphs. No warranty is made regarding defects or damage due to neglect, misuse, alterations, accident, misapplication, physical damage, improper installation or installation on water quality outside guidelines for the system, or damage caused by fire, acts of God, or freezing.
NOTE: Ultrawater Solutions LLC's Warranty covers the components of its UltraHome Whole House Systems. The Warranty for parts is 5 years for control valves and 10 years for media tanks, and there is no expressed warranty on media or other consumable or wearable items.
Ultrawater Solutions LLC's Warranty begins on the date of purchase for end customers. All warranties are subject to the terms and conditions, exclusions, and limitations detailed herein. Ultrawater Solutions LLC does not make any warranty or implied Warranty as to merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. Ultrawater Solutions LLC does not warranty any filtration media's capabilities, as they depend on source water chemistry, flow rates, and other environmental circumstances unique to the customer.
The Ultrawater Solutions warranty does not cover damage incurred during transit. Ultrawater Solutions LLC warrants that its products and components will be free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal use and by component:
Media Filtration Tanks used for cold water and influent applications are warranted for 10 years. They must be adequately protected against excessive water pressure (not to exceed 125 psi), water hammer, freezing, hot water (120F maximum), impact damage, and vacuum failure. The installation must incorporate flexible connections to prevent failure caused by tank expansion. Outdoor installations must be protected from UV exposure.
Tanks must be installed on a solid, flat foundation.
Control Valves and related valve accessories are warranted for 5 years. Damage or failure of "wearable parts" (e.g., pistons, o-rings, quad rings, seals, spacers, gaskets, circuit boards, and other parts) caused by friction, wear, chemical attack, and debris are not covered.
Systems must be installed by a licensed, bonded contractor or plumber. Installation and maintenance must comply with all applicable ordinances and plumbing codes.
This Warranty does not apply to consumable items, such as media and sediment pre-filters. One's water quality and actual use will determine the life of the filter media. Note: Filters and filter media can be replaced.
Also, products, or components that are damaged due to neglect, misapplication, accident, modification, freezing, acts of God, damage, water temperature over 120F, vacuum, or any other factor outside of normal operation and source water issues. Contact Ultrawater Solutions LLC in advance for advice as to the suitability of a product for a specific purpose, concern, and desired result. (Damage claims are handled separately from the Warranty. Damage claims must be submitted in writing, including a fully completed Ultrawater Solutions LLC Damage Claim Form. To the extent permitted by applicable law, Ultrawater Solutions LLC is not liable for consequential damages, including damage due to acts of God or proper installation. In no event shall Ultrawater Solutions LLC be liable for damages, including without limitation, loss of time, inconvenience, charges incurred in connection with the repair or replacement of the product(s), direct or indirect damages, loss or interruption of business or home services or any other monetary impact. Ultrawater Solutions LLC's entire liability under any provision of this Limited Warranty shall be limited to the actual amount paid for the product(s).)
Warranty does not extend to items built wholly or partially to the Purchaser's design or specifications. This Ultrawater Solutions LLC warranty is expressed or implied instead of any other warranty. Warranty is void by failing to fully comply with installation, product label, operation, or maintenance instructions, including using incompatible lubricants or sealants. Warranty claims shall require detailed documentation and pictures of the installation, on-site inspection, and return of the item(s) at the customer's expense.
Ultrawater Solutions LLC extends warranties solely to our end-user customers. Purchaser's exclusive remedies under this Warranty shall be limited to repairing or replacing the non-conforming item(s) as determined by Ultrawater Solutions LLC. Warranty return shipping and packaging is the customer's responsibility. Returned items must be identified with a formal Service Authorization (SA) reference number. Contact Ultrawater Solutions LLC to obtain an SA number or discuss warranty issues. No dealer, agent, distributor, or other person can make any warranties or representations concerning Ultrawater Solutions LLC or its products. Accordingly, Ultrawater Solutions LLC is not responsible for warranties or representations.

Installation & Maintenance Notes
- UltraHome systems must be installed and maintained by a licensed, bonded contractor.
- Installation and maintenance must comply with all applicable ordinances and plumbing codes.
- Ensure the source water intended for use with the UltraHome system is potable or safe for drinking.
- It is recommended that the Sediment Pre-Filter be replaced every 6-12 months, depending on the amount of sediment present in your source water. If the system has been working correctly and the pressure is slowing, it may be time to change the Sediment Pre-Filter.
