Calcium inserts fit into the mineral port of AlkaViva ionizers and are useful for increasing pH where water is soft, lacking minerals or has a low pH. Calcium Inserts also may be useful in cases of severe calcium deficiency. This product does not give a substantial amount of dietary calcium, but the calcium that goes through a water ionizer does get ionized and becomes more bio-available. These inserts are usually not needed as typically there is plenty of calcium in most US water supplies.
These calcium inserts are only for AlkaViva Water Ionizers and they fit into the ends of the filters.
