The Ionia Super-S12 Water Ionizer Filter-Set is a state-of-the-art combination of perfect filtration for drinking water. The filters are only used when you are making drinking levels of water. When you are making strong alkaline and acidic water the source water is channeled through the saline port of the Super-S12 machine rather than through the filters. So, you do not use up your filter-life unnecessarily. It is suggested to minimally change the filter set every year.
